Selfless Service
“Human lives are now bent, broken, deceased, distressed and disheartened. Help these lives and make the human heritage worthwhile.” “When you feel the desire to give away in charity, direct your minds towards good educational institutions, healing facilities for the sick and the amelioration of distress among the poor.” “The bliss you derive from SELFLESS SERVICE to the society, you can never get from any other activity. The thrill that a kind word, a small gift, a good gesture, a sign of sympathy, a word of compassion can bring about to a distressed heart is something beyond words to describe.” “Learn a lesson from the tree: When it is heavy with fruits it does not raise its head aloft with pride, it bends low, stoops, as if does
not take any credit for its accomplishments and as if it helps you to pluck the fruit. Learn a lesson from
the birds: They feed those who cannot fly far; the bird relieves the itch of the buffalo by scratching it with his beak; they help and serve each other with no thought of reward. How much more alert must man be, then, with his superior faculties? Service is the best cure for egoism. So engage in it, to relieve pain and grief to the extent that you can.”

HUMAN VALUES
1. Truth
“Man’s real value is based upon his adherence to good
conduct and his reliance on TRUTH.” “It is TRUTH and TRUTH alone that is one’s real friend and relative. Abide by TRUTH and tread the path of righteousness and not even a hair of your body will be harmed.”
2. Right Conduct
“Whatever you do, you must regard it as a DUTY done without selfish motives and without selfish gain.” “Everyone must become a worker, a hard worker, a sincere worker and an enthusiastic worker.” “RIGHT CONDUCT is the foundation of the welfare of society. It is the truth which is stable for all time.”
3. Peace
“What exactly is PEACE? It is the stage in which the senses are mastered and held in balance.” “Speak softly and sweetly and spread joy and peace around you.” “When love is shared PEACE reigns.”
4. Love
“The end of wisdom is freedom, the end of education is character the end of culture is perfection, the end of knowledge is Love. "Without cultivating Love for others, you can never cultivate LOVE for yourself". "If man has no LOVE in him and if he does not share it with all beings in all creation, he is but a burden to earth".
5. Non Violence
“ While science has overcome the barriers of time, distance and nationality, it has done little to promote
better understanding between man and man, nation and nation.” “Examine you mind, your thoughts. Speak ill of none, do not humiliate anyone.” “ Do not use poisonous words to anyone for words wound more fatally than even arrows.”
